Congratulations to Greg "Crown Royal" Nyles as he picked up the victory in the season finale at Homestead. He had five of the top ten finishers. Second place went to "Slammin" Shawn McKeever. Third went to Tim "Slide job" Suglia, fourth to "Jumpin" James Taylor, and rounding out the top five was George "Poker face" Hanson Sr.

Congratulations to Jeff Schearer, as he was crowned the FANCAR Champion. The unofficial standings for the FANCAR Chase for the Championship are posted above. 1066 points separated the ten drivers in the Chase.

It's been a great season, the first with our new point system. The new system will be evaluated, and we will decide which direction to for next year. I will be sending out a survey to see what the consensus is within the next few weeks. Thank you to everyone for participating, and hopefully next year will be even better.

This week's checkered flag goes to Kurt Busch. The guy won the championship, so I guess I have to give it to him. Way to go Rubberhead.

This week's black flag goes to time in general. How did this racing season go by so fast. Wasn't Daytona just last week??? Well, at least we don't have too long for next season to start.
